Flesh tones in oil.
Notice the tones. In the top of the picture is Burnt Umber mixed with titanium white, the base color. From there you tint with a dot of Cadmium red deep hue and Ochre( is a mixture of Raw Umber and Cadmium yellow).
Mix your main pot of a number five value on scale. Take a little out and tint for pink toned flesh.
The color on bottom is Raw Umber which will give you a green underlying tone. Do not use Crimson or other reds. The formula is written up top.

It seems like I dropped off lately…..and I sort of have. Busy with art and artist friends. Busy with life; family and working around an old creeky house. I will pick up again after the holidays for sure.
