In posting the last few times I find myself writing about spiritual values in my life. Under this menu I will post encouraging words of wisdom and testimonies from an artist to super Mom here and what I have taken from this life experience so far. I can not …….not include them in my blog because it is who I am. If you are [ here ] reading this…..then it is on purpose.

Be the artist God created you to be.

This is crazy good; it was cyber Monday and I was looking for or at a rosewood Brazilian french easel on line for a long time and they cost about 300. and up. I often see artist friends with them at paint outs and I always think to myself I’d love to have one, but I can’t see myself just buying one. Phil doesn’t care if I buy one, he actually asked me not too long ago If I wanted the one I was looking at at an art store we were at. Anyway, the next day I came in from food shopping and the answering machine was blinking and it was this lady whom I never meant explaining that her mother was an artist and recently passed. She found my name in her Mom’s things; her Mom loved my website and told her daughter about my artwork. She felt as though her Mom would be honored if her art supplies came to me. Needless to say I was so surprised. Can you guess what the first thing I saw when I entered her Mom’s art studio? A Brazilian Rosewood French Easel.!!!! This is how good OUR GOD is. He hears and knows our hearts beyond our understanding. Driving home with art books, paper and a new easel had me speechless and in tears, there is not enough Thank you words to God for His love and goodness. The lady wouldn’t take a penny, it was a gift from her Mom. I told her I would be honored to paint a portrait of her Mom for her. I wanted to share this with everyone; not to brag at all. If I bragged it wouldn’t honor God. I want you to know God hears and sees our hearts when we think no one cares. God loves you beyond measure. God sent His son Jesus for you and me.

Understand that God does Not make mistakes. PERIOD!  Don’t ever let the negative set in; if someone says to you your artwork is not good or you should think about another career….seriously. If you truly feel you want to be an artist and maybe even become a professional artist then by all means do it! Work hard to improve your skills, go to college and or take art courses. If college is not an option there are plenty of tapes/cd’s on line studies you can find to study from. My Dad always told me you only get out of life what you put in. Don’t let the devil fill your head with crap, negative BS…you are a child of the Most High God, now act like it!  The devil will come against you through anyone he can, don’t believe lies. God does NOT make mistakes, He created you for a reason.

I seen this post come over my email yesterday and it says a lot about people who feel like they need for example; name drop, feel that they have to talk up or try to impress others being somebody they’re not that they think they are. It’s a shame because you aren’t being the person God created you to be. Don’t ever look down on someone or belittle someone; really…get off your high horse. My Dad always said; “Don’t be afraid or ashamed  to say where you came from”.  Money can’t keep you on top and if money is what you think makes you better than you are…than you are on for a slippery slope. Joyce often says on your death bed you don’t ask about the number in your accounts. Take a good look in the mirror and ask yourself, would these so-called friends be there if you had no money or when you lose it? The truth is on a bottom line is that your jealous of what the other ones have and stand for, instead of trying to make yourself sound more accomplished humble yourself, stop fluffing yourself up by talking and show a true interest in the people around you. It’s not all about you. You might even learn something you can use in your own life to better yourself for the right reasons. It’s like Joyce states, you are only impressing people who are weaker than you and you are not free.
If you are ever in a situation this is how you can tell if the people there really give a crap about your well-being or are they out for themselves; I had to get to my car in the pouring rain, a real soaker and I had some artwork in tote. The people I was meeting never even offered an umbrella or even an offer to help with an umbrella! What does that say? No, they commented on the rain and knew it was pouring outside. It states loud and clear that they only truly care about their own needs and how can they use you to benefit their selves. Be careful, learn to recognize a wolf in lamb’s clothing.  Be smart about who you let in your life, not all have good intentions for you.  A situation like this shows someone’s true colors.
An artist that takes the credit for another artist’s work is a con-artist. Don’t ever do that! You will not have God’s blessing on your work, that’s why it’s a struggle where you’re at. God always finishes what He started and it’s a Blessing to have God in our lives, not a right. We don’t go to Heaven or God by our works, it is Jesus that opened the pathway. If God is in a circumstance it Will Not be a struggle.

I am nothing with-Out God. The older I become the more I realize this fact. It’s time to Get Over” yourself and become and learn to become one of God’s children. It is never too late to give your heart to The Lord Jesus.

Instead of worrying about your problems, worship, sing, praise and give thanks to God. Then watch and see what happens in your life.

This is the best way to feel about yourself. I find comfort in this saying from Joyce. I love her honestly and she says it the way it is!  She says she didn’t have a great begining, but she will have a great ending! I am learning to Trust God and take oneday at a time. Plus the fact when God gives you an assignment to do in life He will give you the strength to carry the plan out. That is what I am standing on.

I am just trying to do the best I can everyday and it isn’t easy somedays. Try to improve everyday…. by saying a simple hello to someone, smile at someone at the grocery store, hold the door for someone, say thank you and put your shopping cart back….don’t leave it in the parking lot! Just little things to make everyday life better.

You make your schedule, and you’re the only one who can change it.
When things get hard, spend more time with Him, lean more on Him and receive more grace from Him. (Hebrews 4:16)

Firstly, try to find a good Christian Bible based church; fellow shipping is important. If you do not have a church like this in your area…. you have a computer….look up Joyce Meyer Ministries and study with her. If you are on Facebook sign up for her daily inspiring quotes as well. I like what Joyce often states’ “Jesus died for relationship not for religion”. He died for us so we can have a relationship with Him and God. It doesn’t matter if you are green, purple or blue….all that matters is Jesus the Lord of your life? Joyce also says; “You can sit in the garage for a week.. it doesn’t make you a car”. She is saying that you can say you are a believer but until you make Jesus the Lord of you life you are just a car!

God is love. It’s not something He does; it’s who He is.
I have this plaque and it states:
 ” Faith is not believing that God can~~~~it is knowing  that He will”
Knowing is better than feeling. (John 5:24)

I always wanted children, but I was able to have children because of Endometriosis and I lost count of how many surgeries later. I knew that I knew that the Lord God ways are not ours. I had to release my Faith in prayer and believe what God says about  circumstances.  Look up Matthew 7-24. The scriptures states anyone who stands on Christ will not fall.  My first child was born on 7-24 time. My second child was born on day 7-24 and my third child was born in room 724.

Do Not ever say there is no God or Jesus.  If you are one of those people who say; “OH….not me” where is He in my life? Well, first you need to shut up. Stop believing the lies from the devil, and invite Jesus into your heart and see not what you lose but how your life will change for the better.

You can choose your thoughts. You can choose which thoughts to keep and which ones to throw out.

As simple as saying Outloud….. “Jesus, I invite you to come into my heart, I am a sinner, please forgive me and I make you my Lord and Savior”. Aman. You can add whatever you want to talk to Him about. He already knows anyway, He is just waiting for you.

Watch your life change for the better. It is important to confess Outloud for all of Hell to hear that you belong to The Kingdom of God, your name is written in The Lamb Book of Life/God and Jesus is your Lord and Savior. One of the scriptures, Matthew 7:23 is so scary to me….read it sometime. You can ask Jesus into your heart when your on the toilet! No pit is too deep for His hand to pull you out of! As you grow in your faith you will be smarter to recognize attacks from the devil. Spiritual warfare it is called. Luke 5; Jesus tells the fishermen to cast out into the deep to reap many blessings. In life you reap what you sow. My Dad always said; “You only get out of life what you put into it”. How true is that?

I have also learned that “Hurting people hurt people”; Joyce Meyer. For example; people that don’t love themself can not give love to anyone because they don’t have it to give.

I heard a saying once and it goes like this:  “Rejection is God’s Protection!”.  Bonnie Hunt’s Mom quoted that on her Tv show once. Is that ever true? If you believe the lies of the devil and think “Oh where is God when I need Him?” The devil wants you to think Crap about yourself in all circumstances………let me tell ya……God knows everything and just maybe rejection [from whatever] is His protection and God is right there with you in every circumstance just a few steps ahead of ya!…….. We just need to let Him into our lives.

God wants wholeness for each and everyone of us. But wholeness is a journey, so don’t give up on your journey. (Phil. 3:13-14)
