Okay, firstly, look at the waves closely; in order to have a Strong Wave pushing the boat into the air or lifting the boat you need to have the wave in One consisted stroke of paint.

Remember the Light Source always! I can’t express enough the light source and how important it is. Always follow through in stroke, so the color is consistent and has purpose. Here the light source needs to follows through. How the light source hits or lands on the boat ans water.

Remember to set the painting at least four feet back and look at it from time to time.
